Its really hard to build a complex cosplay in your dorm room in the middle of Vermont. It takes FOREVER!!!!!!! When I need something it usually involves ordering something off the internet (like thread OMG!!) or having something shipped from my home in California. So building cosplay has become a very very slow processes. it frustrating seeing so many amazing cosplay and people advancing in their skills and I have to wait weeks at a time for simple supplies like corset boning or eve tread! I promise I am working on stuff. I tried to build my Miku with out corset boning but alas I need it, now I have to take it apart and wait two week for boning to show up. ugh I hate this waiting, I just want to sew!!!
Full Time Job,Complicated Cosplay and French?!
Hello everyone,
I hope to have more photos soon, at least WIP photos of my Madeline Hatter cosplay. I now have a full time job and am taking French two night a week so I have little time for my hobbies at the moment. I will be at Fanime in May and should have two more cosplay done by then...possibly...ok one for sure. I will be entering in the masquerade with my Madeline Hatter cosplay so that will be done. Ok so I work in the morning so good night, OH! I will post my cosplay line up sometime in April.
Best Presentation at Sac-Con
I cant believe that I won best presentation at Sac-Con today. I had a lot of fun participating in the masquerade and cant wait till my next one however I feel that might be awhile. I will be working on Ever After Highs Madeline Hatter's Legacy Day outfit for awhile. The shoes alone will take ages but I love a good challenge. I have several new cosplays I want to post to DA but I am desperately seeking a good photographer. I might have one in November if all works out. Hello everyone! I have not been on DA since March, that a long time ago. As you can imagine I was super busy getting ready for graduation and applying for jobs. Now that that's over I have made it my mission to be more active in the cosplay community. I will be updating DA, Twitter and Facebook more regularly and responding to comments or questions when they are posted. I have not had the chance to take good photos of my latest cosplay, Elsa or Miku, so expect to get a photo update later. I am currently working on my 2011 Racing Miku cosplay, yes its been almost a year but don't blame the poor broke full time environmental policy college student. I am also working on a super secret cosplay that will be debuted at Anime Boston along with my Miku cosplay. I will be competing in Boston so wish me luck.
